Find Your Community.

No lone rangers here — we follow Jesus together. We're able to grow, heal, and serve as we learn to be real with others.

Men's Breakfast

Most months we meet on the third Saturday at 8 a.m. to share some grub, to catch up, and to challenge and encourage one another as godly men, or at least those who want to move in that direction.

Wednesday Bible Study

Wednesday Bible Study
Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. we gather to extend our understanding and to learn how to better apply God’s world to our lives. Currently we’re going through a combined teacher/video series produced by Focus on the Family and featuring Old Testament scholar Ray Vander Laan who walks us through the ancient world to see and understand both the New and Old Testament better.

Thursday Prayer and Praise

Group prayer and praise is an important part of life in the Body of Christ. Unfortunately, few take advantage of these opportunities. We meet Thursday to share time together in recognizing God’s provision and our hope in Him through Jesus. It’s informal and flexible. It’s a great time to share life together with God at the center.

Thursday Coffee & Conversation

This interlude helps adults and kids (they don’t have to drink coffee) adjust from the day to get ready for the follow-on time watching the series, The Chosen. Ages for this event have ranged from infant to late 80s. There’s something for all, including some treats! :)

Thursday The Chosen Discussion

We’re sharing in watching The Chosen series in which we separate biblical, traditional, and fictional elements to better understand and appreciate the life of Christ and its impact on the world. The series is the brainchild of Dallas Jenkins and the results have been remarkable. Of course, one should always analyze for themselves.

Family Worship (5th Sunday)

On the 5th Sunday of the month, we encourage the youngsters and youth to join in sharing music, praying, and God’s word to the entire body.

Discipleship

Discipleship
We understand discipleship is not a program but a lifestyle in which more mature Christians join with younger Christians to share life and wisdom, often learned the hard way.

Visitation

Consistent with the scriptures we check in on widows and orphans. We also have a weekly outreach to visit residents of our local long-term care home.

Counseling Ministry

Our counseling ministry provides compassionate, faith-based support to individuals and families facing emotional, spiritual, and relational challenges. Through prayer, biblical guidance, and professional counseling techniques, this ministry helps people find healing, hope, and restoration in Christ.

Vacation Bible School

A four day event where children explore Bible stories through music, crafts, games, and engaging lessons. It’s a fun and meaningful way for kids to deepen their understanding of God’s love.

Third week of June

American Heritage Girls (Christian girl scouting)

The growth of our AHG program, a Christ-centered girl scouting program, has been dramatic! God has been at work with girls and adult leaders both growing year over year.
AHG emphasizes six program elements (faith, leadership, socio-emotional health, outdoors, citizenship, & life skills) to achieve the mission of building women of integrity. These include programming, experiences, and resources for every age level. Girls who complete the program will be Christ-following servant leaders who are honoring, relational, anchored in Christ, and competent.

Kids Bible Club (Fall & Spring)

Kids Bible Club shares the gospel and fun in a safe environment each Spring and Fall for about six weeks each. We have games, snacks, songs, and lessons each week. We use CEF material as the basis of our program.

Sunday School

We have an opportunity every Sunday morning at 9:30 am for children of all ages to get together with teachers to learn more about the Bible. They have been using the Adventure Bible as the guide as they have discussions and ask questions to better understand scripture.

Kids Sermons

Kids Sermons
Pastor Brett shares with the kids an element of the sermon given each Sunday with the aim of making important points more clear to the youngsters. The adults seem to benefit a lot from them too. :) Plus, you never know what the kids might say, they are amazing!

Children’s Church

After the Kid’s Sermon, children are able to go to Children’s Church. This is for children of all ages. We spend time learning songs that we will teach the adults on Family Sunday. We also are studying some basic concepts of the faith. Currently we are learning what Salvation is. That will be followed by Communion and Baptism. We rejoin the adults in the sanctuary in time for group prayer and worship through songs.
